Army Offshore Sailing Centre in GosportBerthing at the Army Offshore Sailing Centre

Prospective ASA Berth Holders

The Berthing Committee will meet in early October to view applications for berths in Dolphin Pool for the following season. If you wish to be considered please complete in full the attached form and return to asa.moorings@sailarmy.co.uk by the end of September.  If your application is not received prior to the meeting it will be assumed that you no longer wish to be considered for a berth on any part of the ASA/RNSA mooring estate.

I will notify you of the Committees decision in due course.  Successful applicants will be expected to submit berth fees before the Christmas break, this is important as the ASA are required pay the Royal Navy Sailing Association (RNSA) promptly in the New Year.

Please note that late payments may incur additional fees and that in the event of a non-payment your yacht may be removed from the marina and your berth allocation cancelled at the discretion of the AOSC Manager and the Chairman of the Berthing Committee (this includes Corps and Regimental yachts).

Again this year applications are likely to exceed the number of berths available, therefore there may be some disappointments.  When providing details in your application please concentrate on current support to the ASA and AOSC and mention your realistic future intentions.

If your application for a berth in Dolphin Pool is unsuccessful, you may apply to RNSA for a mooring on their estate.
